  • June 8 — Brad King, President Lennox & Addington Horticultural Society, Neat Garden Things from A to Z — So many “neat things” can be found in a garden. Brad explores some of the more extraordinary samples of Mother Nature, presenting a collection of interesting garden trivia from A to Z.
    • Spring Flower Show* — Exhibits are to be in place by 6:45 pm with judging to start at 7:00 pm. Our Flower Shows judges are certified by the OHA. Judges use the OHA reference book Ontario Judging and Exhibiting Standards for Floral Design and Horticulture, revised 2019 Edition for rules and guidelines to assess the quality of exhibits and the awarding of prizes.

    • Fall Flower & Vegetable Show* –Exhibits are to be in place by 6:45 pm with judging to start at 7:00 pm. Our Flower Shows judges are certified by the OHA.     • Dawn Harper, Seasons of Oops a Daisy Flower Farm & Florist. Dawn will outline the work and busy schedule during a growing season at her farm. Oops a Daisy Flower Farm grows local fresh cut flowers and offers fresh cut bouquets and arrangements for special occasions, including wedding designs. As well they host seasonal workshops and flower subscriptions.

  • October 5 — Diane Huddle, A Plant That Changed the World. An interactive and exploratory presentation. Diane will be speaking about a mystery plant, and you are going to have to guess what it is. This plant has played a dynamic role in shaping our history. It is one of very few plants that is enjoyed, and it has changed the course of history all over the world. Any guesses? Join us for some fun as the mystery plant is slowly revealed.

  • November 9 — Cliff Byrnes, Christmas Door Swag Demo — It’s time to decorate for the holiday season – let us help you get ready. Cliff will be demonstrating how to make a beautiful, easy, economical and festive door swag. It’s a perfect way to greet guests and add cheer to your front door entrance, not just for the Christmas holidays, but all through the winter season.

Our meetings are held on the second Monday of most months. Social time starts at 6:30 pm with program starting at 7:00 pm. We meet at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, 4333 Bath Rd., Kingston, Ontario, K7M 4Z1. Enter from the west side of the parking lot and follow the ramp down to the hall door.
